LINE DRAWING COVERING
A line drawing is not a record of reality, but a rehearsal for belief of value, structure, and desire.
There’s an invisible space between the ideal ring and the one you can actually hold.
So much time spent on design and making is often ignored.
This reminds me of my time working in a jewellery shop, where customer cared more about the material.
It made me wonder:
Do customers really want jewellery itself, or just the material value?
No design fee because the ring is from copyable online date
No making fee because they just raw valuable materia
No fancy package because customer don't want to pay for it
We see more than what we see, we use our imagination to fix the blank space, when we wear a ring line draft, are wee still see it as a draft or start to fantacy?
But once real jewellery materials enter the “draft,” is it still a draft, or has it become a real ring?
